Welp, it’s been a million years since I’ve posted.
This summer Ryan and are hoping we can do a lot of hiking/camping with the girls….if Summer ever comes. It’s April 24th and Spring is being real stubborn here in North Carolina. But this weekend, we were able to get out and go on a super easy hike with the girls.
We went to Douglas Falls in Barnardsville. It was such a pretty drive with smaller waterfalls all the way up the mountain. Douglas falls wasn’t as full as I thought it was going to be, but the drive alone was worth it! I want to try and go back (without the babes) after a heavy rain to get better pictures, plus it’d be really awesome to see. I read it is a 70ft fall. Regardless, it was really pretty and an easy outdoor adventure with kiddos. (I think the trail has been washed out a time or two, there are a few wet areas and fallen trees which for the most part have been clear, so Maggie needed to be carried until we got to the falls and then back out.)

I made a little video of the hike too (hahaha first time I’ve ever done one but I think it turned out cute)

Have not been here yet, but seems like a great place to take my young nieces to hike! Thanks for sharing! xx Kirby
Sorry I’m just now seeing this Kirby. I’m taking a social media break and hoping to really focus on my blog. Thanks love, it truly was a beautiful hike.
