Can anyone become a successful blogger?

Are you wondering the same thing?

That’s the question that keeps circulating in my head. If you know me I started this blog 4 years ago and haven’t put the effort in. If you don’t know me, long story short–I started this blog 4 years ago when I became a stay at home mom but life has been so busy and I didn’t set the time aside to make this work. I am now ready to do the DANG THING ! So here I am, showing up. I’ve started a course to help propel me forward and hold me accountable. I just feel like I’m literally the most basic person. I love my life!! but it’s pretty boring to others, but part of me is like but isn’t that what people need? Don’t people need to be able to be happy in the right now moments, well that’s part of what I want to do here with this blog. I want you to see that life doesn’t have to look like the highlight reel we see on instagram. I don’t know about you but the perfectionism of instagram is getting OLD.

Here’s my goals

Here I am. My goals are to show up in the here and now. And if I ever figure out this whole blogging thing. I will share with you guys how I did it. I want to show up in and be REAL. I was going to take pictures for this post and was about to change my clothes then run down to my husband’s office because it’s the aesthetic that I love but then I was like nah, I’m going to show up 100% how I look right now. In the house I’m living in now (which isn’t perfectly decorated or even what my dream home would be) But that’s okay because it’s ours and I’m so grateful to have the house we are living in now!

Follow along

If you’ve also been wondering if you could ever start a blog and make it your full time job. I invite you to follow along on this journey with me. Better yet, we can find out together! If your curious how I started a blog and the steps I took to do that I would be more than happy to create a blog post with step by step instructions. Here at The Humbling Bee I want you to see the real me, not some perfectly curated family because we are far from curated. My family is messy. We are real. We are never in matching outfits, we are loud and chaotic, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Here’s what you can expect to see here, I want to share some of my favorite hikes, adventures with my family, thrifted style and tips, clean beauty and a clean home, scriptures and what God is showing me personally, my personal style, and just life in general. HA, so basic but I love this life and love photography, so really a blog just feels so right. Like I said, I’m super simple and kind of basic but this question still rings in my head about making this my full time job. I’ve prayed and finally feel at peace with starting and that I’ll be able to stay at home with my kids until they graduate high school, that’s my motive behind making this little space on the internet my job. I don’t have the answer to this question right now, but hopefully I’ll be able to look back at this post one day and know that I worked hard and accomplished that goal. If you’re still reading, thanks! Have you ever thought about starting a blog? If so, have you and/or what’s holding you back?
